Imagining Mental Wellness 2024 was a success. 17 nonprofits raised $390K from 940 donors in just one day.
Fran’s Place partnered with the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF) and 16 other nonprofits for our Second Annual Imagining Mental Wellness, a 24-hour collective effort to help mental health in our community. Fran’s Place fell a bit short of our goal, so additional donations on our web site will be greatly appreciated.
Fran’s Place is the only local organization dedicated solely to providing licensed professional counseling, at no charge, to cancer patients and their families. The people who come to Fran’s Place are in distress from a cancer diagnosis, and need help with the emotional, psychological, physical and lifestyle challenges that come with the stressful diagnosis of cancer.
At Fran’s Place we believe that every person deserves to achieve and maintain a quality of life that is productive, fulfilling, and happy. Our services consistently improve our patients’ quality of life. For the past 3 years, demand for our services has increased 20% per year, each year.
