Survivors Stand Up – Comedy Benefit

Nov 2023

Saturday, November 18, 5 pm PST

Survivors Stand Up, a hilarious live online stand-up comedy show, is set to tickle funny bones and warm hearts. The virtual event will raise funds for Fran’s Place – Center for Cancer Counseling, a dedicated 501(c)3 organization, that provides licensed, professional therapists, who are knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with cancer patients of all ages, in English and Spanish, and, at no-charge.

Creating an evening filled with laughter, unity, and inspiration, will be Grace Fraga, a Los Angeles-based comedian and breast cancer survivor. Fraga (The Steve Harvey Show, National Comedy Hall of Fame Inductee 2020), has enlisted an impressive lineup of fellow comedians which include: cancer survivor Alex Hooper (America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central, author of “Roast Yourself to Happiness”), supporter Mary Kennedy (Shameless on Showtime, and her solo show, Mid Life Mood Swing), and, supporter Jason Stuart (Goliath, Smothered on Amazon Prime). Please note: This show contains adult language and content.

Cancer affects millions of people around the world each year, making it imperative to continue to support those impacted by the disease. This November, Survivors Stand Up is committed to making a difference by raising both funds and awareness for the cause.

Tickets: $25 (create a free account to purchase tickets) Tickets for the event are available for purchase at, with proceeds going directly to Fran’s Place. Donors will not only enjoy a night of uproarious laughter but also contribute to a cause that makes a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by cancer.
