Celebrating 25 years of making a difference, Fran’s Place – Center for Cancer Counseling has been a beacon of hope and support for cancer patients and their families. As we reflect on our journey, we are filled with gratitude for the supporters, clinicians, volunteers and donors who have helped countless lives be positively helped with our services.
Our Journey
Since 2000, Fran’s Place has been dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where those affected by cancer can find solace and understanding. Our mission is to empower patients and their families with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the challenges of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Milestones Over the Years
- 2000: Fran’s Place opens its doors, offering counseling and support services.
- 2005: Expansion of services to include family counseling and educational workshops.
- 2010: Launch of our community outreach program, reaching more families in need.
- 2020: Introduction of virtual counseling sessions, ensuring continuous support during the pandemic.
- 2025: Celebrating 25 years of service, providing triple the number of counseling hours.
